Williams, Larry Ray
Reverend Larry Ray Williams, 71, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010, at the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born August 20, 1938, in Christiansburg, he was the son of the late Raymond Jackson Williams and Annie Dehart Williams. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Rev. Williams was a retired minister in the United Methodist Church, Holston Conference with over 35 years of service. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Brenda Horton Williams, Dublin; sons, Kelly Ray Williams and wife, Trish, Woodlawn, Gary Lee Williams, Dublin; grandchildren, Nicole Tijerina, Marina Williams, Sierra Williams, Kellie Williams, Shane Parnell, and Destiny Parnell; greatgrandsons, Joshua Tijerina, and Colton Parnell; sister, Nancy Hendrix and husband, Charles, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 3 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Bill Roland officiating. Entombment will be in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum , Dublin. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
