Anderson, Anna Ringler
Anna Marie Ringler Anderson, 93, of Radford, Va., died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Carilion NRV Medical Center.
Born June 11, 1923, in Elk Lick Township, Somerset County, Pa., to the late Earl Clemens Ringler and the late Lucinda Elizabeth (Lowry) Ringler, she was preceded in death by her husband, V. Clifford Anderson; one sister, Ethel L. Harding; and five brothers, Clyde E. Ringler, Robert K. Ringler, Lawrence E. Ringler, Walter E. Ringler, and Earl S. Ringler. She is survived by her son, C. Barry Anderson, of Radford; her sister, Louise R. Tressler; and her brothers, Karl A. Ringler and Harry L. Ringler, all of Salisbury, Pa.; and innumerable nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Catherman’s Business College in Cumberland, Md., she ran the Hygienic Sanitation Company’s office in Cumberland until her marriage. She was a member of Grove United Methodist Church, Radford, and the Order of the Eastern Star, among many affiliations.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2017, at Grove United Methodist Church, in Radford, with the Reverend Richard Patterson officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery.
