Kesterson, Virginia Stoots

Virginia “Gin” Stoots Kesterson, 89, of Parrott, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was a member of the Parrott Church of God and was co-owner of Hank’s Drive-In.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Flora Faye Stoots, her son, Kenneth Brown; brothers, Robert, Ralph, Harold and Everett Stoots; sister, Mae Howell; and niece, Shirley Wade.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Hanford E. “Hank” Kesterson; special daughter/niece, Shenna Viers and her husband Brent and children Carley Viers, Heaven Thomas and Kayla Myers; and brother-in-law, Bob Kesterson and his wife Kim. Also surviving are Debra and Pete Roan, Sandra Nelson, Kenneth Stoots, Kurt Wade, Terri Reese, Robbie and Kim Stoots, Dale and Barbara Bain, Teresa and Bob Hurt, and Jennifer Spangler; numerous great nieces and nephews; and special friend Larry Thomas and special son Mark Robic.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Parrott Church with Rev. Michael Bond, Rev. James Walker and Rev. Kenneth Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the church.
