Lovern, Donald E.

Donald E. Lovern, 52, of Christiansburg passed away February 24, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin & Frances Lovern and a brother, Clifton Lovern. Donald is survived by his wife, April Lovern; daughter, Tara Hinkley; step son, Gavin Hinkley; Goddaughter, Aalexi Moses; father-in-law, Samual Hinkley & Frances Kast; mother-in-law, Ellen Smith; sister-in-law, Sandra Hinkley & Amy Meade; brothers, Roger & Jennifer Lovern and Calvin & Kimberly Lovern; sisters, Shirley & Eddie Nester and Elizabeth Twiggs & Wally Harney; and special friends, Brenda, Melissa, Jenna, B and family as well as other friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 2 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev Michael T. Bond and Keith Graves. Interment will follow in North Fork Cemetery.
