Worrell, Audrey Bentley

Audrey Elizabeth Bentley Worrell, age 77 of Charlotte, N.C. and formerly Pulaski passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009 in the Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Born May 10, 1932 in Pulaski County she was the daughter of the late Carl D. & Beulah Mae Smith Bentley.

Her husband, John Henry Worrell, Sisters, Charlotte Bentley, Shirley Ingo and brother, Elwood Bentley also preceded her in death.

Surviving her are her children, Henrietta Love, Bobby Lee Worrell, John Michael Worrell, Linda Diane Robinson, all of Charlotte, NC, Brenda Darlene Rape of Iron Station, N.C., Gail Williams of Pulaski; companion William Ellis Williams of Charlotte, NC; brother Robert Douglas Bentley of Pulaski; sisters Phyllis Ann Duncan of Pulaski, Mary Francis Lawson of Wythe Co.; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Carson Linkous officiating.
Interment will follow at the Thornspring Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
